This procedure describes the calibration of the Chatillon 1388-S torque wrench tester, designed to measure torque which does not exceed 600 pound-inches, and in the clockwise direction only. The Test Instrument consists of an internal torsion bar and a linkage arm assembly which is used to transfer the torsion bar deflection to the direct-reading indicator.
