The procedure describes the calibration of the Hewlett-Packard 340B or H01-340B Noise Figure Meter and the Hewlett-Packard 343A VHF Noise Source which herein referred to as the Test Instrument. The Test Instrument automatically measures and continuously displays the noise figure of the receiver or amplifier to which it is connected.
