Economic benefits are expected from controlling erosion and sediment during urban construction,but control costs have not been previously related to benefits. This study relates cost to effectiveness and damage values for many erosion and sediment control systems. The Seneca Creek watershed,near Washington, D.C.,was used as a model. (Author)
