These transactions are part of an ongoing series of conferences reporting research on the chemotherapy of tuberculosis sponsored by the Veterans Administration and the armed forces. Presentations include reports on a comparative study of the histopathology of infections caused by Mycobacterium kansasii and M. tuberculosis, silico-mycobacterial disease in sandblasters, laboratory aspects of current problems in the chemotherapy of tuberculosis, pulmonary capillary blood volume in mitral and aortic vascular disease, survival data in intrathoracic malignancy, and adult respiratory distress syndrome due to methadone.
