Attitudes Toward Housing and Environment of Families in Dispersed and Non-Dispersed Housing in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.

This is the final report of the findings of a survey concerned with attitudes of families living in subsidized housing in the Kansas City metropolitan area. It is one of three reports of a study which examined housing policy and needs in the Kansas City area. The major purpose was to determine whether families similar in race, program type, and structure type differed in their attitudes toward housing and neighborhoods according to their dispersal status. The attitudes measured were: adequacy of housing, perceptions of neighborhood services, perceptions of neighborhood quality, perceptions of neighborhood problems, neighborhood influence on children, and evaluation of local schools.
