Ore Handling Equipment Operations Safety Study in Underground Metal and Nonmetal Mines.

摘要

The study was undertaken to improve operational safety of ore handling equipment used in the metal and nonmetal mining industry. The objective of the study was to identify existing safety hazards associated with the operations of orehandling equipment and to recommend practical solutions that will minimize hazards and reduce operator injuries. Detailed recommendations are developed from the study in areas of improved equipment design,improved operator protection devices,improved operating procedures instituted by supervisory and operator training and changes and additions to existing safety regulations.
