TIMEBASE: Time-Series Data Base Management System

摘要

TIMEBASE is a special purpose data base management system designed to provide on-line, interactive access to one or more files of time-series data. The TIMEBASE system consists of two major entities: a set of FORTRAN-callable central handler routines which perform the functions of maintaining the on-line data base, and the TIMEBASE processor which provides a variety of data manipulation and statistical routines. This document describes the functional characteristics of the TIMEBASE time-series data base management system, the operation of the TIMEBASE Processor, the QUICKDRAW Processor, and the set of subroutines which comprise the FORTRAN interface to the TIMEBASE handler.
