This report on the feasibility of surface mining on the North Slope of Alaska has considered the quantity and quality of the North Slope deposits with attention paid to the economic,technical,and environmental constraints of the mining systems suggested for the three candidate minesites at Kukpowruk River, Elusive Creek,and Kuk River.
