Security Assistance Accounting Center (SAAC)

The Directive establishes the Security Assistance Accounting Center to carry out certain responsibilities of the Secretary of Defense under the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended, and the Arms Export Control Act. It incorporates the provisions of Deputy Secretary of Defense Memorandum, September 9, 1976, and Joint Memorandum of Agreement between the Defense Security Assistance Agency and the United States Air Force as the DoD Executive Agent for Operation of the Security Assistance Accounting Center, October 5, 1976, which are hereby superseded and canceled.
