Methyl Chloride Survey Report, Conoco Chemicals, Westlake, Louisiana,Final Report Task III

摘要

Occupational exposure to methyl-chloride (74873) was studied. An industrial hygiene survey was conducted at Conoco Chemicals, Westlake, Louisiana, to determine methyl-chloride concentrations. The authors conclude that although measurable amounts of methyl-chloride exist, the TWA exposure of workers was below the OSHA standard of 5.00ppm. However, some minor problems exist with the analytical method used to determine methyl-chloride in air.
