The report consolidates scenario information about oil and gas lease sales pending for the Norton Sound and southern Bering Sea regions. The scenarios outlined are hypothetical typologies of oil or gas field development which are constructed primarily for the staff of the Alaska OCS Office to use as a basis for performing environmental analysis in future EIS's. The scenarios outline what could happen given a certain set of assumptions; they are not meant to be true predictions of future events.
