The attached report presents the results of our audits of the United States Mints (Mint) Schedule of Custodial Deep Storage Gold and Silver Reserves (Custodial Schedule) as of September 30, 2012 and 2011. The Custodial Schedule is the responsibility of the Mint. We conducted our audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
