Intensive Hard Clam Mariculture: A Primer for South Carolina Watermen

The Southeastern states have experiences a significant increase in their hard clam fisheries, and hard clam culture is being considered by an increasing number of people in the area. This booklet attempts to present a summary of the procedures involved in establishing a demonstration project. Information is also presented which may be pertinent to readers who wish to try their hand at intensive hard clam culture.
