Sobering Remedies. A Literature Study Regarding the Efficacy and Applicability of Various Substances to Counteract the Effects of Ethanol Consumption

One of the possible activities in the future to decrease the dangers of alcohol in traffic is a study of chemicals which have a sobering effect. To get an insight into the existing knowledge in this area and to study the usefulness of stimulating further research. A literature review was made. The best way to counteract the influence of ethanol is the retardation of the absorption by means of a sugar holding beverage or a good meal. A list of the literature consulted, with abstracts of studies relevant for this study is enclosed.
