On the Stability of Sailing Yachts at Large Angles of Heel

摘要

This report contains the major part of the work of the previously edited interim Report No. 499 'on the stability of sailing yachts'. New material though has been added. In this report firstly the effect of beam, the beam to depth ratio and the vertical height of the center of gravity on the stability of yachts at both small and large angles of heel is investigated.
