Report 8 of the series synthesizing the results of scientific research related to the effects of air pollution and acid deposition on fish and wildlife resources deals with arctic tundra and alpine meadow ecosystems. Recent research revealed the problem of increased air pollution in these areas once thought to be relatively unpolluted. The report describes the ecosystem features which determine sensitivity to air pollution.
