摘要

A generalized method for making evapotranspiration estimates using satellite data is presented. It is designed for good cumulative ET estimates based on surface temperature, air temperature, and net radiation data of limited time resolution. The surface is described by an equation relating surface-to-air temperature gradients, net radiation, moisture availability, bulk air thermal conductivity, saturation deficit, and a soil heat flux parameter. Given estimates of two of these factors, the other two can be determined from the correlation of temperature gradients and net radiation.
