Aquaculture Techniques: Preliminary Studies on Carrying Capacities and Census-Taking in Serial Reuse Ponds

A fish size and water temperature compensated model to measure the oxygen consumption of rainbow trout was developed and tested under laboratory and limited field conditions. Although the model is logically and mathematically correct, several technical inaccuracies were detected when the model was applied to determine the number of rainbow trout in a raceway population.
