Aircraft Stowage Procedures for Battery Powered Wheelchairs

A reprint of the appendix of the Mobility Aids Stowage report, the pamphlet contains a detailed description of a procedure for safely stowing battery-powered wheelchairs on aircraft, in conformance with the Federal Hazardous Materials Regulations. The procedure is synthesized from existing industry practice which has been successfully applied by several domestic and foreign air carriers for many years.
