摘要

In 1979 the Netherlands Agency for Aerospace Programs initiated a program called MRVS, which is an acronym for the Dutch translation of 'Measuring, Recording and Data Processing System'. The purpose of the program was to design and to acquire flight test instrumentation systems that meet the demands of prototype flight testing in the eighties. It became rapidly apparent that a significant part of the required instrumentation was not commercially available and thus had to be designed in house. This has been very true for the instrumentation to measure linear and angular displacements. In the report the design and development of angular displacement transducers is described. The instrumentation for the measurement of control surface deflections is emphasized. In order to meet the accuracy demands for the last application, calibration tools were designed parallel to the design of the transducers. A description of some of these tools is also given.
