The report presents summary information derived from a test program on the out-of-plane response of nine reinforced, clay brick masonry walls subjected to simulated earthquake loading. The project was developed by Computech Engineering Services (CES), as part of the US/Japan Coordinated Program for Masonry Building Research (TCCMAR). Its main objective was to evaluate the influence of the amount of vertical reinforcement, vertical ledger load, height-to-thickness (H/t) ratio, rebar splicing, and extent of grouting on the out-of-plane response of the walls. The report provides detailed descriptions of the experimental setup, input signal characteristics, data processing techniques, and summary data derived from the dynamic tests.
