摘要

The objective of the workshop was to review the ongoing GRI research projectsrelated to discovering the mechanisms responsible for the formation of oxides of nitrogen in natural gas flames, to explore the relationships between basic research and gas industry needs in this area, particularly with respect to anticipated lowering of the tolerance limits for stationary and mobile source emissions, and to organize the creative imaginations of active researchers and industry representatives so as to assist GRI personnel in planning future programs.
