Descriptive information and detailed data for the launch systems are presented. The vehicle systems covered are the current fleet of launch vehicles; a family of new low cost expendable launch vehicles; the two-stage, fully reusable space shuttle; the space tug; and resuable nuclear shuttle. The data cover configuration and vehicle/subsystem descriptions; performance and weights; development; and payload environments and interfaces. A description of each of the vehicle systems, based on their best definitions in March and April 1971, is presented. (Author)
