摘要

The RAPIB computer program for rapid performance calculation of solid rocket engines is written in ALGOL 60. Input parameters are grain geometry, propellant characteristics, and nozzle geometry. The program allows solving the steady state algebraic equations that govern the interior ballistics and fluid flow. Flow charts illustrate the main program and the procedures used. In addition, an extensive description is given of the computer program. The theoretical background of the calculations is briefly mentioned. Some results are presented in graphical form.
