摘要

A multigrid technique in one coordinate direction was applied to a program (SLOR) for solving the full potential equation for the transonic flow around a two-element airfoil configuration. The multigrid technique is based on the convergence rate in ordinary SLOR normally being best for the high frequency error components and worst for the lowest frequency components. Calculation results show substantial improvement in convergence rate as compared to ordinary SLOR.
