A multigrid method for computing steady solutions to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations is described. ^The convection part of the equations is approximated by a simple low order upwind-biased scheme employed for multigrid relaxation, in combination with a higher-order essentially nonoscillatory scheme used to supply a defect correction to the right-hand side of the discrete equations, on the locally finest multigrid levels, in a way ensuring the overall high accuracy of the solution. ^Viscous terms of the Navier-Stokes equations are approximated in a straightforward way. ^(Author)
