摘要

The characteristics of the high- beta tokamak equilibrium with non-circular cross-section and anisotropic pressure are studied analytically. The equilibrium beta sub(p) limit defined by effective pressure (p sub(parallel) + p sub(perpendicular))/2 does not depend on pressure anisotropy, however toroidal mass flow leads to the reduction of the critical beta sub(p) value of the non-circular tokamak.
