Overall Buckling of Z-Stiffened Panels in Compression

摘要

A simple analytical method for establishing critical load and mode is described. Particular mention is given to deformation by shear load. Numerical illustrations are presented which refer the flanges, one having symmetric flanges. The critical load appears to depend very much on the stiffness of restraint offered by the panel plate to the root of the stiffener web.
