摘要

The durability of hybrid Wagner type beams (Gr/Ep shear web stiffened by a bonded aluminum frame) subjected to repeated deep bucklings in shear was investigated. Test results demonstrated that: composite shear webs can withstand loads which correspond to many times of their buckling, and be utilized safely in the deep postbuckling region; utmost fibers in the stacking sequence should be placed in tension field direction to increase both fatigue life and ultimate strength of the web; composite shear webs are less sensitive to fatigue than metal ones; and fatigue damage in a composite web does not necessarily lead to comprehensive failure.
