摘要

The static and fatigue properties of fiber reinforced laminates with polyethersulphone and polyimide matrices were investigated. The resin matrices were reinforced with aligned short carbon fibers with a length of 3 mm. The investigations were performed at room temperature and at 100 C on the pure resin systems, on the unidirectional laminates 08 and 908 as well as on 0, 90, 0, 90s and 0, plus or minus 45, 0s laminates. The progress and mechanisms of damage were examined. The investigation demonstrates that aligned short carbon fiber reinforced composites may be considered as an aircraft structural material.
