Design-Philosophy for Grounding and Inter-Unit Wiring

摘要

A design philosophy to ensure electromagnetic compatibility of a system is outlined. The properties normally attributed to ground plane are challenged. System units are shielded in accordance with a topological view of shielding design. Requirements for interunit wiring within this approach are listed.
