Plastics and Rubber in Different Chemical Environments: A Survey of Their Resistance to Corrosion

Summarized in handbook form are the corrosion properties of some 20 main types of plastics and some 10 or so types of rubber. It is based on surveys made in the pulp and paper industry, searches in the literature, perusal of suppliers' information about materials, and the experience of the author and the working group of technicians from industry who are engaged in the work of the Swedish Corrosion Institute in the polymer field.
