Nondestructive Inspection of the Pressure Vessel in Stuttgart. ALOK Part. Phase 1. ALOK Combined with Conventional Probes

An automated ultrasonic inspection was performed with the ALOK system in the inspection program of the pressure vessel. Inspection with conventional probes covered selected defects of the circumferential weld M4, and the five defect planes of the circumferential weld 4/1. Evaluation of the measured data included on-line C scan presentations, and noise elimination of the ultrasonic data within the defect areas.
