摘要

Three polarization sensitive and solid single offset reflector antennas were analyzed. The design of gridded reflectors and dielectrical sandwich structure between polarization sensitive reflectors is discussed, and the reflection coefficients are computed. The possibility of having one antenna for both transmit and receive band is considered. The chosen antenna is a polarization sensitive reflector antenna with an F/D-ratio of 1.2; the reflector aperture is 2.5 m. The advantage of the polarization sensitive reflector antennas is the possibility of having two different feed clusters with orthogonal polarization, so that one feed cluster can be used for multibeam application, while the second feed cluster is used for contoured beams.
