摘要

The fatigue properties of the Ti alloy IMI 685 were studied at room temperature and at 450 C. At both temperatures lamellar type microstructures show improved fatigue crack propagation behavior compared to equiaxed structures. Similar results are found for low cycle fatigue tests, whereas in the high cycle fatigue range the equiaxed microstructures are superior. Creep deformations and strain aging are thought to play an important role in high temperature fatigue properties.
