摘要

A high frequency inertial wave filtering method is presented. The WKBJ and strained coordinate methods were used to obtain low frequency inertial waves in a homogeneous and spherical shaped mass in rotation about an imaginary axis passing through the center of mass. The eigenvalue and eigenfunction calculation by this method is much easier than Greenspan's. The agreement is good within an error of approximately four percent.
