Case Study Relating the Yourdon Methodology to Other Design Methods

Applicability of Yourdon methodology in different stages of the design and implementation of a real time control system is evaluated and it is related to other design methods. Related to Koster's three phase model for programming large systems, the Yourdon methodology is useful in the first application phase as a tool to specify and document large real time systems. In the implementation stage it is only useful for communication and documentation purposes.
