摘要

The mathematical models adopted for computer aided turbomachinery blade design are discussed. The various aspects of a typical blade design system are presented, covering the through-flow calculation, blade section design using design and analysis methods, and blade section stacking. Loss prediction using coupled inviscid boundary layer approaches is discussed together with the emerging role of Navier-Stokes codes. Ways in which three-dimensional effects can be included in the system by linking the through flow and blading programs are presented and results shown.
