Preparation of optical materials used in non-visible region (M-17)

摘要

The purpose of the experiment was the following: development of containerless glass melting technique; fabrication of high purity glass; and development of acoustic levitation technique. For the space experiment, glass 65CaO-25Ga2O3-10GeO2 was selected out of various types of glasses. The expected results are: ultra-high purity glass and manipulation by acoustics.
