摘要

An investigation of the dynamic stability of a parawing glider in towed flight and in free flight has been made in the Langley full-scale tunnel by means of flying-model tests. The model used in the tests represents a pro¬posed configuration suitable for the transportation of military equipment and supplies. Three general configurations of the model were studied:the basic configuration which had a modified-delta-planform wing, the basic wing and strut system with a larger body, and the basic body and strut system with a diamond-planform wing of larger area than the basic wing.
