Detailed stator performance was obtained with ratios of coolant to primary mass flow from 0 to 0.07. The effect of coolant on downstream flow and total-pressure patterns and stator efficiency were determined experimentally. In addition, the theoretical effect of coolant on stator efficiency was determined and compared with that obtained experi¬mentally.
