摘要

This report explains how the AGA-Thermovision camera, which is widely used for determining the temperature distribution on surfaces, can also be used for measuring the emissivity of surfaces in the wavelength range over which the camera is sensitive. The method is based on independent measure¬ment of the surface temperature by thermocouples as well as by the camera:from the results the value of the emissivity can be derived. The expected error associated with the method is also calculated.nThe surface examined was a substrate on which solar cells and second surface mirrors were glued in the regular arrangement specially designed for HELIOS. The emissivity values of both the solar cells and the second surface mirrors were determined. Results are presented in tabular and graphical forms.
