Because of confidentiality requirements of this task, this topical report is211u001enecessarily brief and is based on quarterly reports that have been previously 211u001eapproved for release by Amoco Production Company (Amoco). More detailed topical 211u001ereports have been written and will continue to be written as the project 211u001eproceeds. The US Department of Energy (DOE) has approved that these detailed 211u001ereports can be held in confidence for a period not to exceed three years from 211u001etheir dates of publication. When this three-year period has transpired, or 211u001eearlier with Amoco's approval, the more detailed topical reports will be provided 211u001eto DOE for its discretionary use. Three detailed technical reports have been 211u001ewritten that cover the two-well pilot test, the laboratory work, and modeling 211u001eusing a coal reservoir description and Amoco's coalbed methane simulator. The 211u001edocument covering the two-well pilot test elicited many comments from Amoco 211u001epersonnel and a major revision of the document is in progress. The other two 211u001edocuments are essentially complete. History matching of the Allison Unit CO(sub 211u001e2) injection project has been completed and long-term performance predictions 211u001ehave been made using the resulting reservoir description. Idealized predictions 211u001efor a quarter of a five-spot pattern of the process have been made and economics 211u001eof the process evaluated.
