SURVEY OF THE USE OF COMPUTER PROGRAMS FOR THE DESIGN OF DESALINATION EVAPORATORS AND THEIR COUPLING TO ENERGY SOURCES

A survey of 130 groups believed to be interested in the use of computers for desalination evaporator design and their coupling to the energy source brought replies from 77 groups. Of these, 22 groups were actively using computer programs for desalination studies in September 1966. Names and addresses are given for 50 groups interested in the use of computerized design for desalination. Eleven computer programs are described in abstracts or outlines.
