The Value of Trace Analysis in the Comparison of Glass Fragments A Preliminary Study

摘要

This report discusses emission spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and activation analysis as methods of glass analysis. Results obtained by neutron activation of glass samples representing many years of production at one Belgian and two UK works are reported and considered in relation to the forensic problem of fragmentation comparison. Suggestions for future work are made.
