As part of the ARB-sponsored Carbonaceous Species Methods Comparison Study (CSMCS) in Glendora, CA, from August 11-21, 1986, time-integrated, ambient samples were collected in stainless steel canisters. Five samples per day were collected, ranging from 4 to 8 hours according to the CSMCS protocol. The species measured included CO, CH4, CO2, H2, and the C2 through C10 hydrocarbons. In addition, N20, the halocarbons F-12, F-11, F-113, CHCl3, CH3CCL3, CCl4, C2HCl3 and C2Cl4 were measured. Four gas chromatograph systems were used to quantify these species. The report contains tables of concentrations of the species measured at the South Coast Air Basin site during smoggy summer conditions.
