摘要

The purpose of the work reported here is to predict heattransfer rates and pressure drops for cooling of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids with temperature-dependent viscosity in pipe flow.nA numerical solution previously developed by the author for heating of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids was converted for use with the IBM 360 computer at The University of New Mexico. Computations were made to predict heat transfer and pressure drop data for cooling conditions.
