This report summarizes the results of a series of one-dimensional computer simulations of the implosion of spherical targets with the Los Alamos two-beam CO2 laser. The simulations were done with a Los Alamos version of the Taser-fusion code LASNEX originally developed at the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, The targets studied were simple glass microshells filled with DT gas, and the predicted scaling of neutron and X-ray emissions with variations in target and laser para¬meters was determined for comparison with experiments currently under¬way at Los Alamos,
