A detailed description of the third column recently installed in the Experimental Engineering Section Off-Gas Decontamination Facility (EES-ODF) is presented. The EES-ODF is being used to provide engineering-scale experiments (nominal gas and liquid flows of 5 scfm and 0.5 gpm, respec¬tively) in the development of the Krypton Absorption in Liquid CO2 (KALC) process.nA detailed discussion of the column's construction is pro¬vided. This discussion includes the peripherals associated with the column, such as refrigeration, heat exchangers, instrumentation, etc.
