Scientific Articles on Magnetic Materials and Applications Research from 2006 - 2014.

摘要

This program addresses basic scientific and engineering issues related to the development of power magnetic technologies. Specific research topics are addressed to support Air Force applications. The goals and expected impact of this work are to reduce the weight, heat loss, and volume of AF systems, and also to improve performance or enable new capabilities. As the development of magnetic technologies progress with time, these goals are being reached very significantly. Specific subtopics and approaches to be emphasized in this work include: study and development of magnetic tape cores, modeling and building of permanent magnet assemblies, research on exchange spring magnets, and modeling and testing of inductors.
